IRRIGATION SERVICE MANAGER

Position description:

Banyan Water Smart Irrigation Division Regional Manager position responsible for management of all Banyan Smart Irrigation system implementations, Banyan Water Customer irrigation system repairs, maintenance, efficiency enhancements, and renovations. A Regional Irrigation Services Manager will maintain operational, administrative and reporting processes and accountability to the Regional Manager.

Major areas of responsibility include:   

  • Hiring, training, and management of department personnel, including quarterly performance reviews, including oversight and management of multiple regional branch locations. Routine travel within region will be required.
  • Maintenance of Company facilities, vehicles, equipment, tools, inventory,
  • Maintenance of Banyan Water Smart Irrigation regional assigned assets and inventory,
  • Estimates, Proposals and Billing for all department services,
  • Management of Customer accounts and relationships including communication of services/upsell opportunities, and collection of payments due to Company.
  • Management of Vendor/Sub-Contractor accounts and relationships including volume pricing program participation and maintaining preferred payment status.      
  • Development and presentaiton of annual budget, including projected revenue, capital and personnel requirements        
  • Design, take-off estimate commercial irrigation installations and renovation plans.        

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • You must be a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual
  • Education – Bachelor of Science degree from accredited university, or military service
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills a must
  • Minimum 3 years employment as manager of commercial irrigation system installation repairs service
  • Current State Irrigation License;  required for Central Region (Texas) hire
  • Computer skills required;
    • Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet Explorer required
    • High aptitude in computer technology, CAD or similar design/estimating software proficiency preferred
  • Clean dirving record and valid driver's license
