PROJECT MANAGER

Position description:

Banyan Water Smart Irrigation Project Manager is responsible for the comprehensive water management of irrigated landscapes for a portfolio of assigned properties within his/her assigned region, reporting directly to the Area Water Management Operation/ Account Manager.                                   

Management responsibilities include;

  • Daily scheduling of irrigation;
  • Review of irrigation flows and schedules;
  • Electronic reporting of alarm and irregularities to clients, client property managers and property landscape service provider as applicable;
  • Tracking of water budget to actual and monthly savings reports

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Education - Bachelor of Science degree from accredited university, preferably in Agronomy or Horticulture, or extensive past employment in agronomy and commercial irrigation system operations and management;
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills a must;
  • You must be a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual;
  • 3-5 years of in-field operation and management of commercial irrigation systems, centralized irrigation control, water budgeting and soil moisture management;         
  • Current Irrigation Association Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor certification preferred
  • Computer skills required;
    • Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet Explorer required
    • High aptitude in computer technology, cellular communications. LAN/WAN preferred; and
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
