Sales Director
Seeking: Sales Director
Location: Dallas, Atlanta, LA, San Diego, Phoenix
Start: Immediate
Compensation: Competitive & commensurate with experience (full-time position)
Role: You will be responsible for sales growth and new business development for a defined territory and set of enterprise clients. Specifics include:
- Meeting sales targets
- Effective management of sales cycle from prospecting through close
- Team selling with local sales and service personnel
- Enterprise-wide, multi-site sales planning and execution, including financial analysis
- Executive-level relationship management with large commercial real estate owners and management companies
- Organizing client and influencer events in your territory
- Opportunity to make a direct, positive financial and environmental impact for client
Requirements:
- Record of success selling services at the executive level in an entrepreneurial environment
- Strong technical and financial acumen
- Executive presence, comfortable in pressure situations
- Demonstrated ability to close business
- Experience selling to commercial real estate clients is a plus
- Independent and self-motivated
- Experience in a business that sells based on shared-savings (for example, an energy savings company) and ongoing revenue is a huge positive
- Example of prior sales roles could include: solar finance installation, energy conservation, water conservation, irrigation, building automation, submetering, utility bill savings and analysis
- Experience with irrigation, utility bills, energy or water management are pluses
